our DogsAll of our dogs have been hand picked to meet the required criteria expected from our clients, that is passive and non threatening yet full of energy to work all day. They are single purpose dogs meaning they are trained only for detection work with no bite/protection training, this allows us to work freely and confidently in public.
Picked also to meet our trainers criteria, to shine in their desire to work. |
Our TeamsTeamwork is our strength. Years of collaboration in training and deployment particularly in the maritime security industry has led to the formation of our co- operative. Our ongoing support for team members is a critical aspect of our ability to deploy readily.
Teams upgrade with continuity particularly in training and research, it keeps the dogs fresh and up to date with current possible IED combinations. All team members have vast experience in screening using detection dogs. |
our StandardsUS standards are the standards of choice. Aust is void of standards regarding detection dogs. DDC therefore embraces US standards as a baseline to maintain integrity and du diligence in the services we provide. The US have well grounded roots acknowledging the benefits in canine screening as reported to and accepted by congress.
Conforming to US standards gives us scope to offer our clients assurance in screening. We have taken our standards a step further to ensure we cover the latest terrorist bomb-making material of the moment, TATP, used in the Brussels and Paris suicide explosives. TATP is not as yet a requirement for certification of explosive detection dogs, however, as part of our "combine science with nature" moto we have ensured to be up to date with the detection of this readily available explosive material. |
